Belgian origin Pro Patria was founded in 1988 by Peter V. (aka PVC). After achieving some success in the nineties, their first CD "Quod Erat Demonstrandum" remained unpublished after the bankruptcy of their record label and the band disappeared for 15 years. In 2017 they returned, however, and have since then produced 5 full albums.
