Once there was a boy with an innocent soul
But beyond every comprehension

And who failed to notice condescension
Then one day, it was love at first sight
There was a girl who would see through him
She took him by the hand, he was full of delight
Blind for the horizon looking very grim

Walking hand in hand under violet skies
She explained everything that she expected
Just to make things clear, she didn't want to chastise
But imperfections need to be corrected
He didn't understand 'cause he was trying so hard
Her voice cutting deep into his senses
He covered his ears, much abundant in tears
An offense that would have its consequences

This is not the way, as I say, that we're going to make a little progress here

Last breath, to the death, and his eyes were filled with terror
Slap in the face, a punch some other place
She was determined to get it out
He tried parrying her blows to his ability

Well deserved if he was still in doubt
Heart blocked, deep shock by her insensibility
